For 90 days get to know more about the international faces of the NBA. Day 74 brings...

Thabo Sefolosha (SG/SF, Atlanta Hawks), Switzerland
Height: 2.01m, 6-foot-7 | Weight: 101kg, 222 pounds | Born: 2 May, 1984

Thabo Sefolosha had a vision at nine years old. He cut out a photo of his head and pasted it on a body he drew wearing a Bulls jersey. At age 22 his drawing turned to reality.

He told Bulls.com, "I was certainly surprised (at the draft) when someone came up and said that I was the next to be picked. I thought maybe he had made a mistake or something." There was no mistake. In a trade to Chicago on Draft night, Sefolosha's wish came true and he began his career playing for his favorite childhood team.

With his wingspan and defensive tenacity, he's made a name for himself on the Bulls and Thunder for the last eight years. His success on D comes from his fearlessness to defend anyone and said, "When you're on the basketball court, everybody's the same. Everybody's got two legs, two arms - you just go at each other" (Bulls.com).

Last season, playing with an Oklahoma City team that went to the Western Conference Finals, he played in 61 games averaging 26.0 minutes, 6.3 points and 3.6 rebounds. He scored in double figures 10 times and OKC went 9-1 in those games. His defensive skills were there as well, registering six steals in one game twice – the first time against the Clippers on 13 November, and the second on 29 January against the Heat.

Sefolosha may not have foreseen a team change for 2014-15, but the Hawks' sure envisioned him representing Atlanta.
