Day 75 brings… Kevin Seraphin (C, Washington Wizards) French Guiana Height: 2.08m, 6-foot-10| Weight: 126.1kg, 278 pounds | Born: 7 December, 1989 For Kevin Seraphin, everyday life consists of positivity, good energy and fun. Known for his vibrant presence across social media -- including a citywide search for his lost pet snake, named Snakey, last September --, his jovial personality shines through off the court. On the court, Seraphin tried to keep that positive mindset after his 2013-14 season performance fell short of expectations. In an interview with the Washington Post, Seraphin stated, "I love this game so if I don't play I'm frustrated. It's just something you have to deal with it. You just have to stay positive and bring good energy and good vibes all the time, so that's what I tried." This statement came after a 2013-14 season that saw Seraphin's minutes drop from 21.8 per night in 2012-13 to just 10.9 per outing. After a career-high 9.1 points per game in 2012-13, the diminished court time led to a 4.7 points per game average last year. Despite Seraphin's frustrations, the French Guiana native re-signed with the Wizards this off-season. At only 24-years old his potential may still be untapped. Keeping that positive mindset, Seraphin will hope to get added minutes next season and prove just that.
