On Sunday night, LeBron James reminded the hoops world why he's still the sport's best player when fully motivated. His 37 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists against the Hawks in Game 3 were crucial for a Cavaliers squad sans Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving. James now sits just one win from reaching his fifth straight NBA Finals.
In an era where social media runs rampant and players' performances are under more scrutiny than ever, the public monitors each LeBron playoff game with a careful eye. Considering his entire body of work, here are the top 10 playoff performances of his illustrious career.
10) April 25, 2010 at Chicago
It's a bit surprising that Chicago only appears once on this list, as James-led teams have repeatedly tormented the Bulls in the past. But LeBron obviously has more than 10 excellent postseason games on his resume, and some of his peak games didn't necessarily come against Chicago.
But in 2010, James' last year in Cleveland for the first go-around, James followed 40 and 39-point performances with 37 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists against a young Derrick Rose. Perhaps most notable: James, not yet known for his outside shooting, drained six treys on the evening.
9) June 19, 2012 vs. Oklahoma City
James appeared overwhelmed in Miami's loss to the Mavericks in the 2011 Finals, so he was on a mission in 2012 against Kevin Durant and the Thunder. In Game 4, James experienced leg cramps, which have plagued him throughout career. But he returned later on to nail a go-ahead 3 with 2:50 left in the game and fell just one rebound shy of a triple-double. James finished with 26 points, 12 dimes and nine rebounds on the night.

8) May 12, 2014 at Brooklyn
The 2014 playoffs were tumultuous for the Heat, and ultimately, James didn't receive much help from Chris Bosh and a banged up Dwyane Wade. So LeBron transformed into pure scorer mode in Game 4 against Jason Kidd's Nets and scorched them for 49 points on 16-for-24 from the field. The Heat won the game 102-96 and went on to handle Brooklyn in five games.
7) May 9, 2009 at Atlanta
Rewind the clock six years, and LeBron's Cavaliers were taking on a Hawks team that featured the likes of Josh Smith and Joe Johnson. Much has changed since then, but James tortured the Hawks in 2009 just like he is in 2015.
James dropped 47 points on just 25 shots, collected 12 rebounds and had eight assists on this night in Atlanta. He also turned the ball over just once as the Cavaliers swept the Hawks.
6) May 24, 2015 vs. Atlanta
LeBron has made it no secret that he's dealing with a plethora of injuries in this year's Eastern Conference finals against the Hawks. Fortunately for him, Thabo Sefolosha is injured and DeMarre Carroll is even more hobbled than James. Once Al Horford was ejected in Game 3, the floodgates opened for James.
He started 0-for-10 from the field but rallied to score 37 points, grab 18 rebounds and dish out 13 assists. After the game, he collapsed to the floor, exhausted. Paul Millsap was no answer for James on Sunday, and despite the fact that the Hawks were short-handed, it will go down as one of his greatest postseason performances.
5) June 7, 2012 at Boston
The Heat and Celtics engaged in some epic battles during LeBron's tenure in Miami, and with the Heat facing elimination in the 2012 playoffs, James turned in a magnificent effort. He scored 45 points on 26 shots and snared 15 rebounds.
James missed his first shot of the evening but drained his next 12 in a row for Miami. The Heat went on to beat the Celtics 98-79 and would eventually win the 2012 NBA championship.
4) May 31, 2007 at Detroit
This is probably LeBron's first true "signature" playoff performance, when he lit up the Pistons for 48 points in a double-overtime victory. What's more remarkable is that he scored Cleveland's last 25 points of the game. It was truly a miraculous performance, and it helped the Cavaliers become the third team ever at the time to overcome a 2-0 deficit in the conference finals.

3) May 22, 2013 vs. Indiana
James was no stranger to triple-doubles in the 2013 postseason for the Heat, who won their second of back-to-back titles that year. James posted a line of 30, 10 and 10 in Game 1 and also sealed it at the end with a buzzer-beating layup in overtime.
With that, James became the first player in NBA playoff history to record a triple-double and a buzzer-beating game-winner in the same contest.
2) May 20, 2012 at Indiana
A common theme emerges when dissecting James' best playoff performances: they usually come with his team's back against the wall. He may not possess Michael Jordan's reputation as a late-game killer, but his overall performances in crucial games, outside of the 2011 Finals against Dallas, shouldn't be questioned.

With Miami trailing 2-1 against Indiana in the 2012 Eastern Conference finals, James turned in an all-around gem that included 40 points, 18 rebounds and nine assists. The Heat used the performances as a launching pad to win the next two games, as well. They would eventually close out the Pacers in six games.
1) June 18, 2013 vs. San Antonio
This will forever be known as the Ray Allen Game, thanks to Allen's corner 3 that saved Miami's season in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. But James was simply brilliant on this night. Facing elimination, he overcame a slow first half to score 16 fourth-quarter points. On the night, he notched his second triple-double of the 2013 Finals, scoring 32 points, 11 assists and 10 boards in Miami's overtime victory against San Antonio.
